Packing Sight Glass

Packing Sight Glass is an inspection window assembly used in industrial piping, tanks, boilers, and process equipment to allow visual monitoring of fluid flow or level while maintaining a leak-tight seal. It combines a transparent glass element with a packing or gasket sealing system to ensure safe operation under pressure and temperature conditions.

The assembly typically consists of a tempered or borosilicate glass disc/tube, a metal housing or frame, and high-quality packing materials such as graphite, PTFE, or fiber gaskets. The packing is compressed to secure the glass in position and prevent leakage of liquids, steam, or gases.
